Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad is Keadilan Communications Director and the state assemblyman for Seri Setia in Selangor. He was also the youngest elected representative in the 2008 general election.

His maiden book, Moving Forward: Malays for the 21st Century, was published in 2009 followed by a Malay edition. He has columns in The Edge, The Malaysian Insider and Sinar Harian. His essays have been published in various publications.

He has had speaking engagements at Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; Cambridge University; Oxford University; School of Oriental and African Studies, London; the Institute of Southeast Asian Studies, Singapore; Asian Strategy and Leadership Institute; the International Islamic University Malaysia; and Universiti Selangor, among others.
